Morganite From Pakistan 1.24 CT

Morganite is a rare, blush-pink to peach-colored gemstone belonging to the beryl family, which also includes emerald and aquamarine. Known for its brilliant clarity and romantic hues, it has become a popular, budget-friendly alternative to diamonds for engagement rings and fine jewelry.

Key Characteristics

    • Color Range: Varies from pale pink, rose, and salmon to peach and purple. The deeper, more saturated pinks are typically the rarest and most valuable.

  • Hardness: Scores a 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs hardness scale. While durable for daily wear, it is softer than a diamond (which is a 10) and can be susceptible to scratching if not cared for.
  • Cut & Clarity: Naturally forms with excellent clarity, allowing jewelers to cut it into various shapes—such as cushion, oval, and emerald cuts—without visible internal flaws.

Care & Styling Tips
  • Settings: Morganite pairs beautifully with warm metals, particularly rose gold, which enhances its soft peach and blush tones.
  • Cleaning: Easily cleaned at home using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic jewelry cleaners, as they can damage the stone.
Origins & Symbolism
  • Discovery: First discovered on the coast of Madagascar in 1911, it was named in honor of the financier and avid gemstone collector, J.P. Morgan. Today, significant deposits are also mined in Brazil, Mozambique, and Afghanistan.
  • Meaning: In crystal healing and folklore, morganite is believed to symbolize love, compassion, emotional healing, and harmony.
