White Quartz From Aouli Midelt Draa-Tafilalet Morocco

White quartz usually refers to either durable engineered slabs used for home design or natural "milky quartz" crystals. For kitchens and bathrooms, it offers a waterproof, stain-resistant, and low-maintenance alternative to marble.

Natural White Quartz
  • What it is: Also known as milky or snow quartz, this is a naturally occurring crystal that gets its cloudy white color from tiny fluid, gas, or mineral inclusions.
  • Uses: It is commonly used in holistic healing, crystal grids, meditation, and as decorative tumbled stones or polished.
Engineered White Quartz (Countertops)
  • What it is: A composite material made of about 90% natural quartz crystals mixed with resins, polymers, and pigments. It can be found in pure, solid white or patterned to mimic marble.
  • Pros: Highly resistant to scratching, chips, and stains. Because it is non-porous, it does not require sealing like natural marble or granite.
  • Cons: It is not highly heat-resistant (temperatures generally shouldn't exceed 150°F), so trivets must be used for hot pots
