White Quartz 12 x 8.8 x 5.8mm 3.55 CT Brilliant Facet Pear Brazil Grade AAA

White quartz spans two primary categories: a natural crystal (often called milky or snow quartz) used for decor and wellness, and engineered white quartz, which is a popular, durable material used for bathroom and kitchen countertops

Natural Crystal
Also known as "snow quartz" or "milky quartz," this natural crystal gets its opaque white color from tiny air bubbles and fluid inclusions.

  • Uses: Highly valued in crystal healing, meditation, and as a decorative stone.
  • Price: Highly affordable, typically ranging from $1 to $10 per tumbled stone or small cluster.

Engineered Quartz (Countertops)
Manufactured from approximately 90% ground natural quartz blended with resin, engineered white quartz is highly prized for its crisp, modern look.

  • Popular Brands: Cambria, Caesarstone, and Silestone.
  • Pros: Non-porous, waterproof, stain-resistant, and highly scratch-resistant.
  • Cons: Not heat-resistant; hot pans can scorch or melt the resin content.
  • Cost: Typically ranges from $50 to $150 per square foot installed.

Care and Maintenance
For engineered countertops, wipe down regularly with mild soap and water. Never expose the surface to hot pots, pans, or harsh abrasive cleaners. For crystal forms, handle gently to avoid scratching or chipping.
